| Muhammad Ali & his grandson, Curtis Muhammad Conway Jr, for Louis Vuitton. The old guy looks cool. It's sad to see such a vivacious personality struggle with Parkinson's. |

my little man....
I just wanted to share a few of my favorite photos of my little man. Time is flying. He's now 27
months. He can type the alphabet and numbers 1-9 on his laptop. He reads (recognizes words). He
knows most shapes and all of the primary colors but he isn't talking much. It's pretty stressful for
me and I'm sure he'll be fine. I've been reading a lot about the "Einstein Syndrome" and feel he has
those characteristics. My main concern is his future social life. Some say late talkers have a hard
time communicating later in life thus making relationships difficult.
Anyhow, this is my little love muffin.

a little sex in the city inspiration.....
I'm thinking I need Sarah Jessica Parker's hair! I've gone dark and shoulder length but I'm feeling
so free these days that I'm thinking Carrie. Carrie all over again. I'm recommitted. Below is my last attempt one year ago.

oh yes, i still breastfeed my little guy!
So much controversy about breastfeeding your toddler in the media right now. Well, I think drinking
cow's milk or a goat's milk is controversal. My milk was made especially and perfectly for my son.
I cannot imagine what I will do once he is weaned but for now, I'm his source.
Below is my guy, Elijah, after his breaskfast of champions!

a strong conviction on Mother's Day.....
I enjoyed a wonderful evening of Vegetarian Sushi, Edamame, the works with my handsome
men for Mother's Day! We decided to walk around the downtown area so my son would hopefully
burn off some of the energy from taking such a long and late nap. As we walked, I was excited for
my two year old, Elijah, to see a horse and carriage approach us as I thought it would be a
wonderful "teaching" moment. (He'd not seen a real horse) However, the longer I watched the more
sadness for the horse I felt. I knew that it's life had to be miserable and so I did a little research as
you will learn I often do, and found that those beautiful horses who carry those beautiful carriages
around most downtown areas usually live half as long as "regular" horses. No doubt to me that this
is due to depression. I truly felt a red paint PETA fur attack type moment brewing inside but I
restrained (I had no paint & possibly no desire to spend the evening in jail?) and went on with our evening...

bohemian, sexy, and serene living spaces!
I'm in the process of redecorating my small rented 3 bedroom house in the country that I may only
have about 6 more months of living in, but I have to redecorate or I will end up jumping off the top of
it. Why now? Well, I'd been trying to be frugal in the past because my husband & I thought we may
end up moving to Chicago (which seems to still be happening) & wanted to wait until we moved to
buy. (We'd sold all of our furniture from our home in California before moving to Texas ). So, here's
a few images that have inspired me. I'm thinking whites, taupe, beige & gold!
How sexy and glam is that?!
